Background

Suvira Africa is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering communities in Africa through sustainable development initiatives. We work on various projects focusing on education, health, and economic empowerment.

Responsibilities

The Programs Intern will support the program team in various aspects of project implementation and management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the planning and execution of program activities.
  • Conducting research and data collection for program reports.
  • Supporting the monitoring and evaluation of program progress.
  • Liaising with stakeholders and partners.
  • Providing administrative support to the program team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Development, Social Sciences, Public Health, Project Management).
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for community development and social impact.

Experience

Previous internship or volunteer experience in a non-profit setting is an advantage.

Additional Notes

This is an unpaid internship opportunity. Interns will gain valuable experience in program management and development within the non-profit sector.
