Project Manager
Job Summary
The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects across multiple departments, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of banking operations and project governance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project management for banking, operational, or technology-related initiatives.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and budgets.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, finance, and operations.
Manage project scope, risks, and change controls to ensure successful delivery.
Communicate regularly with senior management and stakeholders on project status, issues, and performance metrics.
Ensure all projects comply with internal risk, audit, and regulatory standards.
Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Technology, or related field (master’s preferred).
5 years of proven experience managing large-scale or complex projects, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PMIACP, Scrum, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of project governance framework.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project/ Task management tools such as MS Planner, Jira, Trello.
