Responsibilities or duties

Conduct a field-based clinical or public health research study leading to a thesis defense

Literature review

Develop proposals

Follow up for compliance approvals

Initiate and lead research activities

Attend BRIDGE network workshops and training

Analyze and interpret scientific problems and leverage a large amount of data

Synthesis and communicate the findings to a variety of audiences

Supervise and mentor MSc students at AKU

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

A master’s degree in public health or any other related field.

Strong data and statistical background.

Possess a Quantitative Research background

Strong written and oral communication

More than four (4) publications in public health or related field

Experience needed

Strong scientific writing skills.

Working knowledge of quantitative data analysis using statistical software.

Working in a health-related research field

Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes)

Strong leadership skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

Fluency in English.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
