Maua Methodist Hospital (MMH) is a national institution of the Methodist Church in Kenya which was established in 1928 by the British Methodist Missionaries in obedience to the great commission of Christ. From that humble modest start the hospital has grown to a regional Referral and Teaching Hospital in Meru County. MMH is also a hub for community health and development services.

RESIDENT PHYSICIAN

Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and Personal Attributes Required:

• Demonstrated competence in internal medicine diagnostic, clinical, and patient management procedures
• Professional indemnity cover
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a teamwork environment.
• Honest and full of integrity in personal conduct and handling of job responsibilities
• Committed Christians with evidence of maturity in faith

• Master of Medicine (MMed) in Internal Medicine or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from a recognized institution
• Registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC)
• Valid Practicing Licence from KMPDC
• At least [2] years relevant post-qualification experience in internal medicine
• Demonstrated competence in internal medicine diagnostic, clinical, and patient management procedures
