Description
We are hiring a Retail Pharmaceutical Technologist to join our growing team in Mombasa.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising customers on pharmaceutical and wellness products, and contributing to overall sales growth. This role requires a professional who is knowledgeable, customer-focused, and motivated to thrive in a busy retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with professional and legal requirements.
- Advise customers on proper use of medicines, skincare products, supplements, and general wellness solutions.
- Support sales initiatives by promoting pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, sales, and inventory.
- Monitor stock levels, manage expiry dates, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical items.
- Deliver excellent customer service by building trust and maintaining confidentiality.
- Stay up to date with new products, trends, and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy and retail operating standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Enrolled and licensed with the relevant professional board (Pharmacy and Poisons Board).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
- Strong knowledge of skincare products, dietary supplements, and wellness solutions.
- Proven experience in sales and customer engagement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be goal-oriented, self-driven, and proactive.
- Must reside in Mombasa or be ready to relocate immediately.
