Our client, a prominent distributor of motorcycles in Kenya with a strong presence in the market, is seeking to hire a Sales Strategist who will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring performance, managing inventory planning, and ensuring alignment with company objectives to drive growth and profitability. The role requires strong analytical skills, market insight, and collaboration across departments to achieve sales targets.
Key Internal Relationships
- Area In-Charge Officers
- Sales Administration Unit
- Registration Officers
- Production Planning Team
Principal Accountabilities / Key Result Areas
- Develop and implement sales strategies and execute PDCA (cycles.
- Analyze market trends and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare and manage sales reports for performance tracking.
- Conduct analysis of sales trends and market conditions.
- Gather and interpret market data to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Channels Monitoring
- Monitor and report on various sales channels, including retail, finance, cash, and corporate sales.
- Provide insights to enhance understanding of market dynamics, based on feedback from AI reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns that align with sales objectives.
- Provide ideas and on incentives and marketing insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities
- Advanced data analysis and financial modeling skills
- Experience working with sales KPIs, forecasts, and revenue models
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
- Ability to monitor and analyze market and sales data.
- Proficiency in demand forecasting and inventory management.
- Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license for manual cars.
- Experience in corporate sales is an added advantage.
Must Have Qualifications
Experience in sales preferably in the motorcycle/automotive industry.
