Role Overview
The Sales Team Lead will oversee a team of field sales agents, driving performance, productivity, and growth in assigned territories. This role combines leadership, business development, and hands-on sales execution to ensure that SunCulture’s innovative solar solutions reach more farmers every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of field sales agents to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Drive the promotion and adoption of solar irrigation and energy solutions among smallholder farmers.
- Develop and execute field sales strategies to maximize outreach and conversions.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and ensure consistent productivity.
- Build strong relationships with customers and community partners to enhance brand trust and visibility.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of field sales experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in FMCG, renewable energy, or agribusiness.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and improving farmers’ livelihoods.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital reporting tools (CRM experience is an added advantage).
- Willingness to travel and work extensively within assigned territories.
