Responsibilities or duties

As the Sales Team Leader, you will:

  • Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve individual and departmental performance targets.
  • Drive business growth by meeting and exceeding sales objectives while expanding the company’s customer base.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Identify new business opportunities and implement effective sales strategies to increase market penetration.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, lending procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the loan application process by ensuring quality customer onboarding and efficient loan processing.
  • Prepare sales reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery and achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications or requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related business field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a team leadership or supervisory role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in logbook financing or a similar lending environment.
  • Strong knowledge of lending practices, loan processing procedures, and credit operations.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing sales teams and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and people management abilities.
  • A strategic mindset with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM or loan management systems is an added advantage.
