Key Requirements (Role Focus)
- Strong FMCG Sales & Distribution Experience: Good understanding of modern and general trade, supply chain, and consumer behavior in FMCG, with direct experience with leading brands.
- Project Management: Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of the Sales Outsourcing Program, from planning through execution and evaluation.
- Sales Training, Field Coaching, and Performance Assessment Skills: Facilitated adult learning (workshops, case studies, role-playing), field coaching (real-time feedback), and performance assessment (measuring ROI).
- Ability to Customize Training Programs: Analyzes specific team needs, tailoring content and exercises to address unique requirements and transform mindsets.
- Focus on Mindset, Skills, and Processes (MSP Model):
- Mindset: Fosters positive, customer-centric, resilient attitudes.
- Skills: Develops practical abilities like prospecting, negotiation, and objection handling.
- Processes: Guides in establishing clear, repeatable sales processes for consistency and efficiency.
- Demonstrated Impact and Testimonials: Proven track record of improving sales execution, market share, and sustainable growth, with compelling testimonials.
- Experience in Recruitment and Team Building: Insights into what makes a successful sales professional, aiding in talent identification and team integration.
- Capability in Developing Sales Processes: Supports teams in building or optimizing data-driven sales processes from scratch.
- Ability to Address Specific Sales Challenges: Provides targeted solutions for issues like unclear goals, market segmentation, CRM adoption, and demo effectiveness.
- Recommendations for Continuous Improvement: Acts as a strategic partner, offering actionable recommendations for sustained growth and a culture of ongoing learning.
Requirements (Experience & Location)
- Sales Experience: Maximum 5-7 years Sales experience, 50% + in FMCG.
- Leadership Experience: 2-3 years leading a team.
- Education: Relevant degree.
- Skills: Capable of training and coaching a sales team.
- Location: Based in Nairobi Metropolitan.
