Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be expected to:
- Support researchers in transforming scientific work into clear, accurate, proposals, and reports.
- Understand the scientific publishing process: preparing submissions, managing revisions, and communicating with journals.
- Work with scientific data—ensuring consistency, accuracy, and organization.
- Assist in developing and coordinating grant applications, timelines, and documentation.
- Have strong writing, editing, and project-management skills.
- Collaborate across diverse research teams and manage multiple projects.
- Be organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at translating complex scientific ideas into polished written materials.
Prerequisite skills:
- Writing and editing skills
- Scientific and research literacy
- Technical and software proficiency
- Project management skills
- Communication and collaboration
- Attention to detail
- Grant and proposal support
Job Specifications:
- Masters degree in research intensive field in biomedical sciences
- Strong preference for PhD Holders
- Experience working with International funding bodies
- Budget development skills
- Knowledge of compliance and ethics requirements.
- Has published in peer review journals.
