Responsibilities or duties

  • Provides subject matter expertise in Clinical Operations by supporting the execution of clinical trials and projects across various regions, including Sub-Sahara Africa.
  • Contributes to the success of clinical trials and ensures local medical and scientific independence while maintaining compliance with Roche’s standards.
  • Represents Roche's scientific positions to key external stakeholders, forming strategic partnerships with government entities, media, and other pharmaceutical companies.
  • Acts as a core team member, serving as an architect and catalyst for medical and clinical operations, promoting decisions based on science and fostering patient-centric practices.
  • Identifies and engages in continuous improvement and change management initiatives to address challenges and introduce innovative perspectives.
  • Develops plans with minimal supervision to support clinical trial execution, enabling integration among various functions while adhering to ethical and quality standards.
  • Cultivates high medical expertise within the affiliate, ensures compliance with promotional material approvals, and maintains oversight of resource allocation and training for talent development.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • You hold a completed Bachelors degree in a relevant field and have at least 5 years relevant experience.
  • Servant leader who embodies VACC leadership principles, Roche Values, and inclusive leadership behaviors.
  • A systems thinker with strong listening skills and a growth mindset, capable of quickly learning and adapting while taking calculated risks.
