Background

Garissa University College (GUC) is a public university in Garissa, Kenya. Garissa University College was founded in 2011 as a constituent college of Moi University, in the facilities of the former Garissa Teachers Training College.

Duties

Duties at this level will involve general Security duties Beat and Patrol; Prevention and detection of crime and Apprehension of crime offenders; Preserving the scenes of crime and reporting to relevant offices and authorities.

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, a person must possess the following qualifications:

• Be in possession of Kenya Certificate of secondary Education mean grade D+ or its equivalent.
• Be of good physique and mental fitness.
• Have a clean record of discharge from any of the Kenya Uniformed Forces or the National Youth Service.

Any recommendations/ commendations or additional certificate will be an added advantage.
