DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise all security personnel on site, ensuring adherence to duty rosters and shift schedules.
  • Prepare and manage weekly and monthly duty schedules to maintain 24/7 security coverage.
  • Conduct daily briefings and debriefings with security teams to communicate objectives and incidents.
  • Ensure proper access control measures are in place and enforced for staff, visitors, and vehicles.
  • Monitor security operations via CCTV and ensure all surveillance systems are functional.
  • Conduct regular patrols and spot checks to assess and ensure compliance with security procedures.
  • Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, or alarms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
  • Maintain and update security records including incident reports, shift reports, and audit logs.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
  • Oversee maintenance and readiness of security equipment including radios, CCTV systems, alarms, and fire extinguishers.
  • Train and mentor junior security staff to ensure professionalism and high performance.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures related to health, safety, and security.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness planning and drills, including fire and evacuation exercises

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field
  • Additional training in CCTV surveillance, firefighting, and/or first aid is a strong advantage
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a security-related role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
  • Good knowledge of local security laws and procedures
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Physically fit and alert with strong attention to detail
