JOB DETAILS:

TP Kenya is a leading recruitment firm in Kenya. We are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant for our client, a reputable organization in the NGO sector.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:

• Managing the day-to-day accounting operations.
• Preparing financial statements and reports.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Assisting with audits and financial reviews.
• Mentoring and supervising junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the NGO sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.

This is a full-time position based in Nairobi.
