Job Summary
The person is responsible for various tasks related to financial transactions, record keeping and financial reporting within the organization.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Document financial transactions by entering account information.
- Coordinate with banks, manage daily transactions, cheque deposits, posting of entries and book keeping.
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Review all accounting entries and ensure compliance with IFRS.
- Preparation of monthly WHT, VAT schedule.
- Finalization of bank reconciliation.
- Posting of monthly provision entries.
- Review of trial balance on monthly basis and ensure no pending entries.
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secure financial information by completing data base backups.
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
- Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Accomplish the results by performing the duty.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Commerce-Finance
- Banking of Microfinance Industry
- CPA-K Finalist.
- 3-5 years working experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of retail finance.
- Document financial transactions by entering account information.
