The Senior Associate SAP Architecture Consultant is a developing expert who is responsible for assisting clients with their information technology environments.
This role assists with the development of the architectural approach for one or more layers of a solution and supports the investigation, planning, coordination, and preparation of feasibility studies relative to new computer-based systems and modifications to existing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists with the development of architectural approach for one or more layers of a solution.
- Supports the investigation, planning, coordination, and preparation of feasibility studies relative to new computer-based systems and modifications to existing systems.
- Develops knowledge by monitor industry publications and electronic information.
- Develops strong knowledge base specific to a particular domain.
- Conducts technology related assessments.
- Maintains relevant documentation and supports the pre-sales process.
- Supports client engagements and sells solutions and services.
- Assists with the continuous improvement of internal tools and methods.
- Drives business development processes, including opportunity identification, presales, scoping, deal closing and driving delivery.
- Applies design principal methodologies in order to perform a detailed analysis of the client’s requirements.
- Supports the creation of strategies that define meta-architectural designs for complex solutions.
- Supports the evaluation of relevant information technology architecture.
Knowledge and Attributes:
- Good working knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs.
- Excellent understanding of multi-technology infrastructure design couple with strategic thinking ability.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Knowledge of systems, software and programing languages.
- Ability to focus on detail with an understanding of how it impacts the business strategically.
- Excellent client service orientation.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business.
- Able to contribute information on relevant vertical markets.
- Continuously learning, keeping up to date on developments in specific technology domains.
- Ability to contribute to the improvement of internal effectiveness by contributing to the improvement of current methodologies, processes and tools.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology and/or Business Management or a related field.
- Relevant SAP Certifications primarily on HCM – Human Capital Management
Required skills & experience:
- Moderate level experience in a similar role (2 years +)
- Moderate level multi-technology infrastructure design experience for SAP solutions with a focus on HCM,
- Expertise: Moderate knowledge of SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, Time, Payroll, Benefits).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ABAP programming and intermediate level understanding of SAP technical architecture.
- Functional Knowledge: Moderate understanding of HR business processes.
