Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor soap plant equipment, ensuring efficient functioning and operation during the soap production process.
  • Follow specified formulation and recipes to prepare soap batches in accurate proportions.
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of saponification chemicals.
  • Ensure quality control through monitoring and testing of soap to meet set quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and correct malfunctioning equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate production records.
  • Training team members to build skills and knowledge in general plant operations.
  • Supervise tank farm operations such as offloading, record keeping, safety compliance, and maintaining tank levels.
  • Meet daily production targets.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering or related field
  • 3 -5 years’ experience in soap manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the soap manufacturing process and filling operations.
