Our client is looking to hire a social media marketer is to develop and execute marketing strategies to facilitate efficient brand visibility for the success of the company. He/she will be responsible for analyzing market trends, understanding target audience, designing campaigns to generate leads, managing the company’s website and all the company’s online platforms.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work requirements and tasks will be guided by the laid down policies and procedures which is reviewed periodically but will fall broadly in the following Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
Strategic planning
- Design and implement unique marketing strategies that are aligned with our business targets and corporate goals.
- Identify target audiences and tailor strategies to engage them effectively.
- Develop and maintain digital campaigns to increase web traffic
Community management
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages and mentions promptly and professionally.
- Foster community growth by engaging with followers and use client feedback to ensure client satisfaction.
Performance analysis
- Track and measure marketing outcomes including marketing activities, response, leads, sales, retention, and ROI using analytics tools.
- Use data to optimize campaigns and inform future strategies.
Market research
- Analyze market trends, competitors and customer behavior to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify new market opportunities and consumer preferences to support campaign creations.
- Conduct SWOT analyses to inform decision making.
Creativity and innovation
- Generate innovative ideas to promote our brand and our products.
- Ensure brand alignment to increase brand awareness and equity
- Establish a strong web presence that is projected to be long term.
Content creation
- Create, curate and schedule engaging content for all the social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the graphic designers to produce high quality visuals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business administration or related field.
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM and email marketing.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms e.g. google analytics, CRM systems and SEO tools.
