We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Clinical Officer (Paediatrics) to join our team at our Nairobi facility. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive care to children and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and conditions.
- Provide specialized paediatric care, including management of chronic conditions.
- Conduct regular health check-ups and developmental assessments for children.
- Administer vaccinations and provide immunisation counselling.
- Educate parents and guardians on child health, nutrition, and safety.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in paediatric medicine.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery with a specialization in Paediatrics.
- Valid registration and practice license from the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya.
- Proven experience in paediatric care.
- Excellent diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
Experience Needed
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Officer, with a significant focus on Paediatrics.
