STEWARD

Job Purpose

The Steward will support the kitchen and restaurant team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep kitchen and service areas clean and organized.
• Dispose of waste appropriately.
• Assist with cleaning floors, surfaces, and workstations.
• Support kitchen staff with basic preparation and other tasks when required.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are properly stored.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with receiving and organizing supplies where required.
• Report damaged equipment or maintenance issues.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience as a kitchen steward or cleaner is an advantage.
• Good personal hygiene.
• Hardworking and physically fit.
• Reliable and disciplined.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: high school
