We are  hiring a Stores & Inventory Officer to manage inventory levels and ensure the timely availability of essential supplies. The role is based in Nairobi and experience in inventory management is required

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, store, and issue medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, consumables, and general inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation of all stock movements.
  • Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and reorder points using FEFO/FIFO principles.
  • Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile inventory variances.
  • Maintain clean, secure, and compliant storage areas.
  • Prepare inventory reports and promptly report stock shortages, damaged, or expired items.
  • Support stock audits and ensure compliance with clinic inventory policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with the Procurement and Finance teams to ensure timely availability of supplies.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Logistics, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in stores or inventory management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with inventory management systems is an added advantage.
