JOB DETAILS:

Kitui County is located 170Km to the South East of Nairobi City. It covers an area of about 30,496 km2. It borders Machakos and Makueni Counties to the West, Tana River County to the East, Taita-Taveta County to the South, and Embu and Tharaka- Nithi Counties to the North.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparation of structural and civil drawings including detailing of steel and concrete structures, layouts and details of drainage schemes, roads and paved areas;
• Carrying out simple survey works under the guidance of a senior officer.

Requirements for Appointment

• Be a Citizen of Kenya; and
• A Diploma in Civil Engineering/Building
• OR
• Construction Technician Certificate Part III or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: associate degree
