Responsibilities or duties
- Provide Technical support to UNICEF Country Offices on management of the Supply Planning and monitoring.
- Supply Chain service delivery and emergency response
- Collaboration with Country office programme, Supply teams and implementing partners.
- Technical, advisory support to government/national systems
- Innovation, products, and markets
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Minimum requirements
Education:
Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Supply/Purchasing,Logistics, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract/Commercial Law, International Development, Health, Social Sciences and any other related fields.
Skills:
Analysis, Coordination, Critical Thinking, Risk Assessment, Supply Planning, Technical Support are required.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is required.
Desirables
Language:
Knowledge of French is considered as an asset.
Experience in Strategic, Monitoring, Capacity Building, Government Advisory Support, Evaluation are considered as an asset.
Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
