Company Overview

Outspan Hospital started operations with the establishment of an Out Patient Department on August 7, 2001. A month later, the In Patient Department was opened with a capacity of 21 beds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily theater activities, ensuring smooth scheduling, efficient patient flow and proper use of surgical equipment
  • Enforce stringent infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols, ensuring all surgical procedures adhere to regulations
  • Ensure compliance with all quality control protocols
  • Act as a role model, providing guidance, training and mentorship to nursing staff and students
  • Monitor, order and manage inventory of all surgical supplies, ensuring availability for procedures
  • Liase between surgeons, anaesthetists and other support staff to create a productive team environment

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in a leadership role in a level 4 and above hospital
  • Higher diploma in perioperative nursing
  • Valid practicing license
  • High integrity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
