This role requires an individual who can deliver high-quality, industry-relevant training tailored to Student needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously update tiling curricula and schemes of work under the guidance of the Department Manager and in line with industry standards.
• Deliver practical and theoretical training sessions covering topics such as surface preparation, tile layout, cutting and fixing, grouting, and finishing.
• Monitor Student attendance, engagement, and performance and provide timely interventions when challenges arise.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of the tiling workshop to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Education and Experience:

• NITA Grade 2 certification as the minimum trade Certification in Tiling, Masonry or a related Construction Trade.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in professional tiling, including layout, leveling, cutting, and installation on walls and floors.
• At least 8 years in the construction sector, preferably with exposure to both residential and commercial projects.
• Prior experience in vocational training, coaching, or adult education is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of industry safety regulations, tiling materials, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to deliver training effectively in both English and Kiswahili.
