We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, service driven team player to join the lodge reservations team.

KEY OUTPUTS:

  • Maintain constant and consistent communication with colleagues, travel agents, tour operators, guests, and suppliers via telephone and email.
  • Build and nurture strong professional relationships with international travel partners and service providers.
  • Creatively design and plan bespoke FIT leisure itineraries across East Africa for international guests and travel partners.
  • Proactively sell company products and services while ensuring the best possible travel experience for each guest.
  • Respond promptly to enquiries and work towards converting them into confirmed bookings.
  • Manage the full reservations process from initial enquiry and quotation through to final confirmation, invoicing, and preparation of travel documentation.
  • Coordinate bookings with lodges, camps, airlines, guides, and ground handling teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor bookings from enquiry stage through to completion of travel.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, itineraries, invoices, and travel documents.
  • Ensure all guest preferences, special requests, and logistical requirements are captured and communicated effectively.
  • Maintain high levels of attention to detail to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all turnaround times are strictly adhered to in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Deliver prompt, professional, and reliable service at all times.
  • Provide operational support and backup for colleagues when they are away from the office.
  • Participate in weekend and public holiday duty on a rotational basis.
  • Continuously expand destination and product knowledge through training sessions, workshops, and educational opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with new safari products, lodges, experiences, and destination developments within East Africa.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in luxury safari reservations or tour consulting.
  • Diploma, higher diploma or degree in Tourism Management or related courses.
  • Strong knowledge of East African safari destinations and logistics. KNowledge of South and Southern Africa is added advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
  • Ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience working with international travel agents and luxury clientele.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Passion for travel, wildlife, and guest service excellence.
  • Lateral thinking ability
  • An in-depth knowledge of Tourplan or a similar booking system
  • Working knowledge of WETU or other related
