Background

Our client, a reputable Insurance Agency is seeking to hire a highly competent and experienced Underwriting Supervisor to lead and strengthen the underwriting function. Ladies are encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the underwriting team and ensure adherence with Co. policies
• Ensure timely processing of policies, endorsements, and renewals.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to resolve underwriting queries for excellent service delivery.
• Analyze risks, recommend underwriting decisions, and ensure proper rating and policy issuance.
• Monitor team performance, mentor staff and continuous improvement initiatives.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar underwriting supervisory role
• Proficient in the Birthmark System 9
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively.
• Age: 32 years and above.
