We’re looking for a Virtual Medical Assistant to support an independent psychiatric nurse practitioner with both telehealth and in-person patients.

What You’ll Do:

• Schedule appointments & send reminders
• Handle patient intake & insurance verification
• Manage and route patient portal messages
• Prepare prior authorization paperwork
• Submit and follow up on insurance claims
• Send pre-approved patient communications
• Log prescription refill requests for provider review

We’re Looking For:

• Behavioral/mental health practice experience in New York – required
• Strong understanding of healthcare administrative workflows
• Comfortable with HIPAA-compliant communication
• Excellent organization and attention to detail

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
