ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient inventory management. The role involves supervising warehouse staff, maintaining proper stock arrangement and FIFO practices, monitoring inventory accuracy, and ensuring safety and operational standards are upheld at all times. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate warehouse activities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including customer pickings, arrangements & timely dispatch.
  • Monitor FIFO arrangement of all goods within the warehouse.
  • Coordinate loading and unloading activities to ensure timely deliveries and dispatches.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
  • Conduct regular stock counts when needed.
  • Ensure proper organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Monitor equipment usage and report maintenance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Logistics and sales departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Minimise stock losses, damages, and operational inefficiencies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Certification in warehouse or inventory management as an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse safety standards
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in warehouse operations
  • At least 1-2 years in supervisory role is preferred.
  • Experience managing warehouse staff and coordinating logistics activities.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and stock control processes.

  • Good organizational and planning abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solving and decision making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
