v Set up, lay out and tack-up various precision weldments and spare parts
v Square up and weld various geometries of components.
v Ensure all weldments produced meet specifications using appropriate measuring equipment.
v Must be able to select suitable welding tools, accessories and electrodes.
v Submits daily working progress including with material consumed, labor and machine hours.
v Must be able to weld in all welding positions and types.
v Read drawings, job orders, tooling instructions or standard charts to determine specification procedures.
v Perform routine welding machine and tools maintenance.
v Good work ethics and flexibility to work overtime and shift is a must.
v Must be able to work in a dusty environment safely.
v Must be able to contribute to continuous improvement techniques to improve output, quality, cost and delivery.
v To avoid rejection and maintain the quality of production and maintenance.
v Handel jobs which are beyond the capacity of lower welders when assigned by his in charge.
v Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
v Must be able to weld and cut using gas welding operation.
v Issue materials and hand over finished products from and to tools keeper or responsible person through formal records.
v Grind or clean weld joint of work piece.
v Follow all safe work practices.
v Access area to be welded by climbing ladder if needed.
v Request safety and welding material, tools and accessories.
v Coordinate and Handel fitting activities.
