Mortuary Attendant II – Job Group D – 3 Posts – 3 Years Contract
Mortuary Attendants are essential in managing county mortuary services.
Job Description
- Receive and preserve bodies in the mortuary.
- Prepare bodies for postmortem and burial.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the mortuary.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of bodies.
- Assist pathologists during autopsies.
- Keep accurate records of bodies received and released.
- Provide support to grieving families in line with professional standards.
- Uphold health and safety protocols in mortuary operations
