Job Summary:

Kolman Agriculture Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Grain Technology Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling advanced grain technology solutions to farmers and agricultural businesses across Nakuru, Eldoret, and Kitale. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to drive the adoption of innovative farming technologies and contribute to revolutionizing the farming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for grain technology products and services.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural stakeholders.
    • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s revenue growth.
  2. Technical Consultation:
    • Provide technical guidance and demonstrations of grain technology solutions to clients.
    • Assess client needs and recommend tailored solutions to improve farm productivity and efficiency.
    • Educate clients on the benefits and usage of Kolman Agriculture Group’s products.
  3. Market Analysis:
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
    • Provide insights to the management team for product improvement and strategy development.
  4. Customer Support:
    • Offer post-sale support, including troubleshooting and training, to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the technical and marketing teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
    • Participate in agricultural fairs, workshops, and field demonstrations to promote products.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in agricultural technology, grain processing, or related industries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of grain storage, processing, and farming technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within Nakuru, Eldoret, and Kitale regions.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and passionate about agricultural innovation.
