Qualifications:

  • BACHELORS DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, MARKETING, COMMUNICATION OR A RELATED FIELD.
  • STRONG INTERPERSONAL SKILLS TO BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIPS.
  • A DIPLOMA IN INSURANCE IS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE.
  • PROVEN ABILITY TO MEET OR EXCEED REVENUE TARGETS AND MANAGE A FULL SALES CYCLE.
  • ABILITY TO MANAGE MULTIPLE PROSPECTS AND SALES CYCLES SIMULTANEOUSLY.
  • PROFICIENT IN CRM TOOLS AND MICROSOFT OFFICE APPLICATIONS.

Main Responsibilities:

  • GENERATE NEW BUSINESS FOR THE COMPANY BY PROACTIVELY IDENTIFYING, TARGETING, AND CONVERTING LEADS INTO CLIENTS. THIS IS A RESULTS DRIVEN ROLE FOCUSED ON HUNTING FOR NEW OPPORTUNITIES, CROSS SELLING EXPANDING COMPANY CLIENT BASE AND DRIVING REVENUE GROWTH IN A COMPETITIVE INSURANCE MARKET BY PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES;
  • IDENTIFY NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AND EXPAND CLIENT BASE THROUGH PROSPECTING AND NETWORKING- ACTIVELY SEARCHING FOR POTENTIAL CLIENTS THROUGH COLD CALLS, INDUSTRY CONNECTIONS, SOCIAL MEDIA OR REFERRALS BY CONSTANTLY BUILDING NETWORKS.
  • SEEKING OUT CHANCES TO INTRODUCE THE COMPANY'S SERVICES AND CONVERT INTEREST INTO NEW BUSINESS.
  • MARKET GROWTH AND STRATEGIC CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT.

Experience:

  • MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN SALES, PREFERABLY WITHIN AN INSURANCE ENVIRONMENT
