JOB DETAILS:

Our client, a dynamic manufacturing company based in Donholm, Nairobi, is seeking a proactive and organized Stores In-Charge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the store operations, ensuring proper inventory control, and maintaining order and accountability of all items in the store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth running and proper organization.
• Manage inventory, including receiving, storing, issuing, and reconciling stock.
• Maintain accurate records of all stock movements and ensure timely reporting.
• Implement and uphold store policies and procedures to ensure accountability.
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile variances.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the store.
• Work closely with procurement, production, and other departments to ensure timely supply of materials.
• Supervise store staff and foster a culture of efficiency and integrity.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Stores Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in inventory software/systems will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and accountability.

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: associate degree
