JOB DETAILS:

For appointment to this grade,

• A candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in any   of the following disciplines: - Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or equivalent from a university recognized in Kenya; and

 OR

• ABachelors Degree from a university recognized in Kenya and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) II/Certified Public Accountants (CPA) II or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include:-

• Vouching sample transactions in audit investigation and verification;
• Participating in preparing engagement and work plans;
• Recording proceedings of entry and exit meetings;
• Collecting and analysing data and statistics; and
• Preparing audit working papers

Work Hours: 8
