JOB DETAILS:
Requirement for Appointment:-
• A Degree in Early Childhood Development Education, Curriculum Development, Education Administration or its equivalent from a recognized institution:
• Possession of a Master’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood Development Education, Education Management, Curriculum; Development, Education Administration or its equivalent will be an added advantage;
• A Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution; and
• Must have served in the ECDE sector for a minimum period of five (5) years.

Duties and responsibilities:-
• Be in charge at the sub-county level,
• ECDE teacher supervision;
• manage day today activities and make decisions on ECDE operations and staffing at the sub county level;
• quality assurance in pre-primary education; establish and setting of standards; advising on staffing needs and empowerment of staff monitoring curriculum implementation;
• Maintenance of detailed education statistics, quality assurance activities on curriculum research and implementation;
• Conduct baseline surveys to enhance planning and implementation of the ECDE programs;
• supervise ECDE projects and programs at the Sub-County level;
• ensure equitable distribution of teaching and learning materials at the Sub-County level; and
• Collect, compile and transmit to the County Headquarters Quarterly ECDE progress reports.
