We are a leading aluminium fabricators company based in Nakuru, specializing in the design and fabrication of high-quality aluminium and glass solutions.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a qualified accountant to manage all of the financial transactions, from daily bookkeeping to monthly financial reporting.
A successful accountant must be trustworthy with attention to detail and excellent with numbers.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and management reports.
- Handle accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure tracking.
- Manage payroll and statutory deductions (NHIF, NSSF, PAYE, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and coordinate with auditors.
- Maintain an up-to-date record of the company's financial transactions.
- Provide financial insights to management for informed decision-making.
- Support inventory management and monthly stock reconciliations.
- Handle bookkeeping for related entities (Real Estate and Farm operations).
- Collaborate with operations and other teams to drive financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a proven ability to manage financial data accurately and efficiently.
- Bachelors of commerce in accounting from a recognized institution.
- CPA-K qualification required.
- 2-5 years of proven experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
