Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified accountant to manage all of the financial transactions, from daily bookkeeping to monthly financial reporting.

A successful accountant must be trustworthy with attention to detail and excellent with numbers.

• Prepare and maintain financial statements and management reports.
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure tracking.
• Manage payroll and statutory deductions (NHIF, NSSF, PAYE, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and coordinate with auditors.
• Maintain an up-to-date record of the company's financial transactions.
• Provide financial insights to management for informed decision-making.
• Support inventory management and monthly stock reconciliations.
• Handle bookkeeping for related entities (Real Estate and Farm operations).
• Collaborate with operations and other teams to drive financial planning, reporting, and analysis.

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a proven ability to manage financial data accurately and efficiently.

• Bachelors of commerce in accounting from a recognized institution.
• CPA-K qualification required.
• 2-5 years of proven experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
