Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting the agency's financial operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations.
  2. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements).
  3. Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  4. Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  5. Conduct periodic financial audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
  6. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  7. Collaborate with management to optimize financial processes and support decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA-K, ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in an agency or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
