Description

Sheth Naturals is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, support budgeting and reporting processes, and ensure compliance with statutory and internal financial requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in the beauty or manufacturing industry and strong proficiency in Excel-based financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and up-to-date financial records
• Prepare and manage invoices, receipts, and payment schedules
• Handle budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage statutory returns including VAT, PAYE, and other regulatory filings
• Support inventory accounting and costing in a manufacturing environment
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Provide financial insights to support management decision-making

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
• CPA qualification (completed or in progress) is an added advantage
• Proven experience in the beauty and/or manufacturing industry
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially in invoicing, budgeting, and financial returns
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and Kenyan tax regulations
