Location: Turkana County (Lodwar & Kakuma)
Employer: Epuruto Distributor Limited
Reports To: Finance Manager
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The role will focus on financial record-keeping, reporting, compliance, and supporting management in achieving financial efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank statements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (tax, VAT, PAYE, NHIF, NSSF).
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Safeguard company assets through proper controls and checks.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA/ACCA qualification is an advantage.
- 3+ years' accounting experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks/ERP.
- Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
