Responsibilities

  • Post supplier invoices and reconcile supplier balances in the SAP system.
  • Prepare accounts payable and receivable schedules, including necessary adjustment postings in SAP.
  • Record accurate and timely accounting entries to support monthly financial close.
  • Perform bank and vendor reconciliations, ensuring all variances are investigated and resolved promptly.
  • Maintain and update accruals and prepayment schedules in line with accounting standards.
  • Manage the Fixed Assets Register, including additions, disposals, and movement schedules.
  • Support both internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries.
  • Maintain accurate records of all daily financial transactions.
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial records in compliance with audit and company requirements.
  • Process supplier payments and ensure adherence to company policies and timelines.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Undertake any other finance-related tasks assigned from time to time.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detai
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen.
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting packages (preferably SAP) and Microsoft office solutions.
  • Well-developed planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.

Experience Requirements

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in Financial Accounting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • At least CPA (2) /ACCA qualification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
