Job Summary

The Accountant will ensure financial health, accurate ledger maintenance, and strict regulatory compliance across the group. This position manages daily financial transactions, handles statutory deductions, and supports internal and external audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ledger Management: Maintain accurate general ledgers, sub-ledgers, and conduct continuous account reconciliations.
  • Statutory Compliance: Process and remit PAYE, VAT, WHT, and other statutory deductions on time to avoid penalties.
  • Inter-company Accounts: Reconcile cross-entity transactions, balances, and shared service allocations across the group.
  • Audit Preparation: Compile financial statements, schedules, and accurate documentation for internal and external auditors.
  • Internal Controls: Monitor daily financial transactions to ensure full alignment with standard accounting guidelines and company policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
  • Certification: CPA Part II completer or final holder (CPA-K preferred).
  • Software Skills: Practical exposure to and hands-on experience with modern ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Competencies: High mathematical precision, analytical skills, and absolute professional integrity.
