JOB DETAILS:

Background

Our client, Waskom SACCO Ltd, a licensed SACCO providing financial solutions to SACCO members, is seeking to recruit a qualified Accountant to join its Finance Department in Nairobi.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and SASRA reports
• Handle bank and M-Pesa reconciliations, payroll, and bookkeeping
• Manage cash flow, loans, and financial policies
• Ensure statutory and tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, NHIF, NSSF)
• Support audits, internal controls, and member account accuracy

Requirements

• CPA (K) qualification (mandatory)
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Co-operative Management
• Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting (SACCO/Financial sector preferred)
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills
• High integrity, attention to detail, and good communication skills

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
