Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA(K) qualification is mandatory
• 5-6 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in FMCG, distribution, or HORECA industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of AR, AP, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Candidates based in or familiar with the Mombasa market preferred

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable & Payables: Manage invoicing, collections, supplier payments, reconciliations, aging reports, and maintain accurate financial records while ensuring timely processing and resolution of discrepancies.

Financial Reporting & Compliance: Support month-end and year-end closing, bank reconciliations, audits, tax documentation, inventory reconciliations, and preparation of financial and management reports.

Cash Flow & Controls: Monitor payment schedules, maintain proper documentation workflows, and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
