Looking for an accounting job in Kenya? Medsply Hospital is hiring an Accountant to manage prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with financial policies. The role is based in Mumias and experience knowledge of hospital accounting systems is required.

Responsibilities

Manage and prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with financial policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of hospital accounting systems, billing, insurance, and claims management.
• Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations and compliance.
• Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a team and under minimal supervision.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in hospital or healthcare management.
• Experience with hospital management information systems (HMIS) is an advantage.
