Position Summary

We are seeking a competent and self-driven Accountant to manage the organization’s day-to-day accounting functions, ensure financial compliance, and support strategic financial planning. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing budgets and expenditures, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and financial statements.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and recommend cost control measures.
  • Process payroll, manage statutory deductions, and ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Oversee financial transactions, banking operations, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Support procurement processes and ensure compliance with financial policies and donor requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain proper financial documentation.
  • Manage vendor payments and maintain effective financial controls.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Management (Accounting Option).
  • CPA (K) / ACCA Finalist is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management, accounting, reporting, and audits.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
