Job Purpose:
To support the finance department in managing the hospital's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws (e.g., VAT, PAYE) and prepare relevant returns.
  • Process payroll and ensure statutory deductions are remitted on time.
  • Participate in stock takes and asset verification exercises.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Finance/Accounting option) or related field. CPA (K) certification is mandatory.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
