Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for a range of financial tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Processing payroll and managing employee expense reimbursements.
  • Supporting internal and external audits.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience is required.
