JOB DETAILS:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, tax filings, and statutory compliance.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and policies to safeguard assets.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Support management in financial decision-making through detailed reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification: CPA (K) / ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan accounting standards and tax regulations.
