To support our continued growth, we are seeking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Accountant with strong real estate industry exposure to join our dynamic team.
Job Overview
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax and statutory regulations, and providing timely financial reports and analysis to support effective decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the company’s financial health and ensuring audit readiness.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain 100% accurate financial records through timely posting and proper record-keeping.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports, including error-free bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable analysis, and fixed asset registers.
- Manage timely invoicing, collections, payments, and follow-ups to ensure optimal cash flow.
- Achieve 100% compliance with tax filings and statutory remittances.
- Develop and submit annual budgets with accurate financial projections, identifying potential variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to management for informed decision-making.
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance with auditors’ requirements at all times.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA (K), ACCA, or equivalent professional certification.
- 3–5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with proven real estate industry exposure.
- Must have hands-on experience with dollar accounting.
Competencies/Skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, IFRS, tax laws, and statutory compliance.
- Advanced MIS reporting skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis).
